I have been working with audio for many years now, but usually just to fool around and make ringtones for people, and edit music for sports video games. I never thought that I'd be as interested as I am with audio production. I'm really not interested in recording music, but rather recording audio spots for radio and television. I have a lot of fun making promotional spots, intro's and outro's for Bearcast, with the less than industry standards Garage Band and Audacity; but by using the introductory level software, I've been able to grasp what makes a promotional spot good. Sure it won't sound as great as something done in the industry standard Pro Tools or Adobe Audition, but it gets the job done for now!

Since I haven't taken any audio classes yet (which changes in a matter of weeks) I've learned the little I know of audio production from two good friends of mine, Zach Mueller, and JT Rooney. Without them, I'd be making spots, intro's, and outro's incorrectly. I have learned a lot since my days of only using Audacity to make ringtones, and I appreciate the help from knowledgeable Juniors' and Seniors'!

The majority of these audio samples are intro's and outro's to the various sports that Bearcast covers. Here are the credits for each audio selection:
