I’ve produced our game notes for Stockton Thunder and Stockton Heat games for four of my five seasons in conjunction with everything else going on.  Over the years, I’ve taken inspiration from NHL notes and from other teams notes and added and subtracted what I think are well balanced notes that don’t cost an exorbitant amount to print (budget conscious!) and also gives broadcasters, media and scouts a picture of the important notes and statistics for the team.

My notes include a cover note sheet, telling key storylines and a quick glimpse into the Heat, along with a roster page, pronunciation guide, team game-by-game, player game-by-game, highs and lows, regular season records, Heat vs. AHL, miscellaneous stats and bios. Here’s an example of a set of my notes from the 2017-18 season.
